In this ongoing series trainees will learn both the theory and techniques of psychodrama, sociometry and group psychotherapy. Using an experiential learning model, trainees will have an opportunity to explore this approach
first hand. Trainees will practice skills that they can apply in their own professional settings.

It’s been said that the only constant in life is change. Transitions occur in all areas of living: relationships, career, residence, family and many others. In this workshop we will demonstrate the use of action methods to examine and facilitate transitions in life.

People have stories which explain their lives to themselves and others. These stories, or narratives, repeat themselves throughout life. These narratives can sometimes result in negative perceptions of self and the world. Psychodrama is a method for people to tell their stories in action. In this workshop we will demonstrate how to help clients “re-author” stories to identify the untold stories of their hopes, dreams and potentials.
