Anger: Containment And Expression
“
There is much psychotherapeutic attention paid to the issue of helping people express unexpressed anger. Less attention is paid to working with people who have trouble containing their anger. In this workshop we will demonstrate action techniques for dealing with 4 anger etiologies: 1) teaching direct anger control, 2) when anger is the result of transference, 3) when anger is a cover for other feelings, 4) when anger is caused by deficit in assertiveness.

In 1950 JL Moreno and JM Enneis Proposed combining two
powerful therapeutic modalities: psychodrama and hypnosis. They called this
combination “hypnodrama.” Hypnodrama has received little attention in recent
years but there is new interest both in this country and internationally. In
this workshop we will demonstrate using hypnodrama in individual and group
therapy.
